Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 24, 2025

Green Lane Express LLC (“Green Lane Express,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of our customers and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you:
  • Visit https://greenlaneexpress.com or any related pages (the “Site”),
  • Join our email or SMS lists,
  • Place or prepare to place an online order for pickup, or
  • Interact with us in any other way that links to this Privacy Policy.
Our Site and services are intended for adults 21 years of age or older and for eligible medical cannabis patients and their registered caregivers as allowed under Minnesota law. Medical patients under 21, including minors, will only be served in compliance with Minnesota’s medical cannabis program requirements (for example, through a registered parent or legal guardian caregiver).
Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law or other non-waivable consumer protections.

1. Who We Are

We operate as a Minnesota cannabis microbusiness and, once fully licensed, will sell medical and adult-use cannabis products at a licensed retail location in Minnesota. Online ordering through our Site is for in-person pickup only at our Minnesota location; we do not ship cannabis products.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:

  • Through our Site and any online ordering system embedded in or linked from the Site;
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and us;
  • When you interact with our social media pages that link to this Policy; and
  • In connection with any digital marketing or customer support related to the Site.

It does not apply to:

  • Information collected offline at our physical store that is not linked to the Site;
  • Information collected by third-party websites or services that do not link to this Policy; or
  • Information that is de-identified or aggregated in a way that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

3. Age and Medical Eligibility

Our Site and online ordering are designed for:

  • Adult-use customers: adults 21 years of age or older, and
  • Medical cannabis patients and their registered caregivers as allowed under Minnesota law.

By using the Site, you represent that:

  • You are at least 21 years old, or
  • You are an eligible medical cannabis patient who is at least 18 years old, using the Site only as permitted by Minnesota law, or
  • You are a registered caregiver or parent/guardian using the Site on behalf of an eligible medical cannabis patient.

We do not knowingly allow minors to independently use the Site. Medical patients under 18 may only receive products through a registered parent or legal guardian caregiver, consistent with Minnesota law.

4. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) you provide it directly; (b) it is collected automatically; and (c) we receive it from third parties.

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

This may include:
  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing/billing address.
  • Account information: username, password, and preferences if you create an account.
  • Order and pickup information: items in your cart, order history, selected pickup time, and preferred pickup method (e.g., walk-in vs. indoor curbside pickup lane).
  • Verification information: in connection with age and ID verification (for example, details from your government-issued ID that we view in person or, if we use an online verification tool, information you enter into that tool).
  • Payment information: if we accept electronic payments, payment method type and related billing details. We typically rely on third-party payment processors and do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: content of messages you send us (e.g., questions, feedback, complaints) and your marketing preferences.
  • Promotions: information you provide when you enter a promotion, giveaway, or loyalty program related to Green Lane Express.
You are not required to provide all of this information, but some features (like online ordering) may not work without certain details.

4.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates/times of your visits.
  • Analytics data: information about how you navigate and interact with the Site, which may be collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Site and to understand how visitors use our services.

  • Marketing partners who help us run campaigns or measure their effectiveness;
  • Government agencies or regulators (for example, in connection with licensing, tracking, or compliance requirements); and

  • Remember your preferences;
  • Keep you logged in;
  • Understand how you use the Site; and
  • Improve performance and security.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable certain cookies, some Site features may not function properly.

If we use cookies or similar tools for targeted advertising, we will provide a way for you to opt out where required by law.

We may retain de-identified or aggregated information indefinitely, provided it cannot reasonably be linked to an identified or identifiable person.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on how privacy laws apply to our processing of your personal data, you may have rights such as:
  • Access: to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to access the data we hold.
  • Correction: to request that we correct inaccurate personal data about you.
  • Deletion: to request that we delete personal data, subject to applicable exceptions (for example, records we must keep for legal or regulatory reasons).
  • Portability: to request a copy of certain personal data in a portable and, when technically feasible, readily usable format.
  • Opt-out options: to opt out of certain uses of personal data, such as targeted advertising or certain types of profiling, where applicable law provides such rights.

These rights may apply to you under specific privacy laws (for example, if and when we are subject to the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act or similar laws). Where we are not legally required to honor a particular request, we may still choose to do so as a matter of our own policy and customer service.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights, where applicable law prohibits such discrimination.

10. How to Exercise Your Rights and Appeal

To exercise any privacy rights or to make an inquiry about our data practices, please contact us:
Please include:
  • Your name;
  • How we can contact you;
  • Which right(s) or request you are making; and
  • Enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity.
We will respond within the time period required by applicable law. If we decline or limit your request as permitted by law, we will explain why and tell you how to appeal our decision where an appeal process is required or available.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If your personal information is subject to a security breach that triggers notice obligations under applicable law (including Minnesota data breach laws), we will provide notifications consistent with those requirements.

12. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly allow minors (individuals under 18) to independently create accounts or place orders through the Site. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a medical cannabis patient under 18, you may use the Site as the registered caregiver for that patient in compliance with Minnesota law.
If you believe we may have collected personal information directly from a minor in a way that is inconsistent with this Policy, please contact us at info@greenlaneexpress.com, and we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

13. Do Not Track and Browser-Based Signals

Your browser may offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal or similar settings. At this time, our Site does not respond to all such signals. If we implement tools that recognize browser-based opt-out signals for certain uses of personal data, we will describe that in an updated version of this Policy.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice (for example, by posting a banner on the Site or sending an email).
